A slice of San Sebastian

Enjoying your day or night out in cape town?

While you are strolling down the street the hunger for Basque cuisine particularly their excellent Tapas grows. Don’t wander around – La Parada (now with three locations) has it all. Well not all… it is still far away from truly authentic Basque cuisine in quality or expertise but hey you are thousands of miles away from San Sebastian. This very popular watering hole is catering to those in love with Tapas. The interior design has the up and coming neighborhood flair with old concert posters and worn wooden tables. Mostly frequented by students it provides a lively hang out place to enjoy Pimentos (Peppers), Jamon (Ham), Pulpo ala Galega (Octopus with Potatoes), Chorizos or Patatas Bravas.

Everything we ordered was good not unforgettable but again I am being picky. What I really loved about La Parada was the excellent service and the bustling atmosphere.

Home away from home.
