For a handful of Doeners

Berlin is a hot-pot of cultures and thanks to this beautiful melange of people you get to enjoy a traditional turkish dish, the world-famous Doener Sandwich reimagined by Mustafa and his team to fit right into the 21st century. Usually a Doener is only filled with meat (lamb or beef), lots of onions and sometimes a bit of salad….but in a time where everybody is craving for perfection and adventure, Mustafa gives his best to take you on that journey …. and it is a grand-one.

The dish (either bun or wrap = sandwich or durum) is filled with luscious chicken, a crunchy fresh-cut salad (tomatoes, cucumber, green salad, onions), fried veggies, 3 sauces and finished with herbs, spices and lime juice. You can also substitute the chicken for feta and go veggie.

You have to be aware that there is probably gonna be a queue but the guys work really fast so it’s definitely worth the wait. And afterwards Curry 36 (Berlins most famous Curry sausage) is literally next door.

Food Coma here we go.
